What is Basaltframe?

Original 3D, motion, and video templates for the web. Each one is packed into a single prompt that writes out every file, so an AI coding agent can recreate the project exactly. You can also download the source as a zip.

How do I use a prompt?

Copy it and paste it into a coding agent that can create files and run commands, such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, or Cursor. The agent writes the project; then run pnpm install and pnpm dev. Prefer to skip the AI? Download the source zip and run it directly.

Which AI agents does it work with?

Every prompt is rebuild-tested with Claude Code: a fresh agent with no other context recreated every file byte for byte. The format is plain Markdown made for any agent that writes files, but agents vary, so results in other tools may differ. Chat-only tools that can't create files are not a good fit.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?

Free forever templates are open to everyone, with no sign-in, and they stay free. Pro templates unlock when you sign in with Google or GitHub, and they are free for members during early access.

Will Pro cost money later?

Possibly. We may offer Pro as a paid plan once the library grows. If we do, we will say so clearly on the site before anyone is charged. Templates labeled Free forever will never become paid.

Can I use the templates in client or commercial work?

Yes. Use them in unlimited personal and commercial projects, including client work, and modify them however you like. What you can't do is resell or redistribute the templates, prompts, or source files themselves. Templates built on Remotion (like CodePulse) also follow the Remotion license. Terms of use →

What if my agent's result doesn't match the preview?

First check that your agent can write files and run commands. If something is still off, download the source zip, which is exactly what the preview was recorded from, or email support@basaltframe.com with the template name and the agent you used.

What do you store when I sign in?

Only your email, name, and profile picture from Google or GitHub. We never see your password and never request access to your repositories or files. We don't sell your data or use it to train AI models. Privacy policy →

How often are new templates added?
